About Us
Communication Imaging was founded over a decade ago to provide the most comprehensive, functional and individualized evaluations and treatment approaches to meet the needs of our clients and their families. Clients are matched with therapists who would best meet our clients’ needs in order to foster the most effective therapy. All of our therapists are continually enhancing and updating their skills, knowledge and experience through continuing education courses, in-services and certifications.
Susan P. Paul, founder and owner of Communication Imaging, is a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience working with both adults and children. She is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and received her teaching certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Susan is certified as a Speech-EZ® clinician for people with apraxia. She attended the University of Maryland and Temple University and received her BA (1983) and MA (1985) from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Susan gained clinical expertise and management experience in a variety of settings including early intervention programs, school programs, clinics, as well as in acute care, sub-acute and rehabilitation hospital settings. Since 1995, Susan has devoted herself to helping families affected by a variety of communication difficulties in her private group therapy practice. Susan is most passionate about working with those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and Asperger Syndrome as she married her extensive experience of traumatic brain injury/stroke with her love and understanding of human nature.
Mrs. Paul has presented several workshops and seminars to both professionals and laypeople on a multitude of topics including but not limited to: autism, social communication, early language development, learning differences, social-cognition and literacy development. Friendly Neighbors, a cable television program produced by LaSalle University, featured Susan in her capacity as an expert in the field of autism. Susan Paul prides herself in fostering effective communication techniques by utilizing a team approach while drawing upon individuals’ strengths in naturalistic, functional contexts. She is now certified in The Speech-EZ® Apraxia Program 
Susan and her husband are the proud parents of three exceptional sons and a dog. She is active in her local community and is a volunteer at her synagogue. Besides enjoying her work and family, Susan enjoys singing and running.

Alexandra Cohen recently earned her B.A in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Exceptiona
lities from Bloomsburg University. She is Communication Imaging’s practice manager and assists the practice in multiple areas including improving the efficiencies of our administrative practices, as well as marketing and contributing to community outreach efforts. In addition, Alexandra serves as a contact for our therapists and families in order to assist with scheduling, billing, in-service meetings and other needs. Her connection with the community allows her to provide parents with the information they need to make the best decisions regarding the care of their loved one. Her inter-personal skills, creativity, executive skills and resourcefulness contributes to the overall innovative, productive and warm environment of Communication Imaging.
In her free time Alex enjoys volunteering towards Autism awareness via involvement in Autism Speaks, Friendship Circle, and Wings of Hope. She also enjoys attending concerts and festivals, spending time with her puppy, and increasing her creative consciousness through her passion of art, cooking and traveling.

AnneMarie Taylor is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over six years of professional experience in the public school system and over four years experience in private therapy and early intervention. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from East Stroudsburg University in 2002 and her Master’s Degree from LaSalle University in 2004. AnneMarie is proficient in a range of need-specific interventions including: language development, social language skills and articulation. She specializes in instructional delivery of therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. AnneMarie’s husband and two year old son inspire her to work to the fullest and be the best she can be everyday.

Danielle Kudlacik is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who works in the Philadelphia Public schools. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Plattsburgh State University of New York in 2008 and her Master’s Degree from the College of Saint Rose in 2010. She has experience with children with language disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, and autism. She is currently working on her bilingual certification in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, she went to Ecuador to assist and learn from speech-language pathologists working with Spanish-speaking children. She is extremely passionate about her work.

Whitney Hailperin is a Speech-Language Pathologist currently in her clinical fellowship year with over five years of professional experience in early intervention in a variety of settings. Whitn
ey received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University in 2006 and spent three years in private practice and preschool autism support classrooms before pursuing a graduate degree in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from LaSalle University in 2011. Whitney has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and enhancing social language in this population, articulation and language delay in children, children with congenital neurological needs, and children and adults who stutter. Whitney currently works for the Chester County Intermediate Unit and her concentration is preschool special education. She is inspired by her work every day and loves her job.

Laura K. Evak is very excited to join the Communication Imaging
practice!! After graduating in May 2000 from Pennsylvania State University with her Bachelor Degree in Communication Disorders with Highest Distinction, Laura earned her Master Degree in Speech-Language-Hearing from Temple University in May 2002. Since that time, she has worked in a variety of settings with a wide span of age groups and abilities including rehabilitation hospitals, long term care facilities, public and private schools, and early intervention. She has spent much of her recent career focusing on school based therapy and working with children with special needs. Laura has taken continuing education courses in a range of subject areas, including the basic and advanced Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) courses presented by Pyramid Consultants, a workshop with Michelle Garcia Winner on Social Thinking, and most recently, a course on Response to Intervention (RtI) and the Role of the Speech Language Pathologist. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has a Level I teaching certificate in the state of Pennsylvania. Laura strives to provide consistent and high quality therapy services to each of her clients and their families
